アメリカ版水路誌は沿岸・港への寄航情報詳細やそれぞれの地域での大縮尺海図の情報も含んでいます。それぞれの水路誌は“セクター”と呼ばれる地理的エリアに別れ沿岸の気象情報や潮流・流氷・危険物・特徴や港湾情報と同時にそれぞれのエリアに該当する海図の主要な俯瞰図を含んでいます。
List of Lights and Fog Signals:
アメリカ版灯台表は書籍番号110-116 の7 分冊になっています。(コーンズでは次のNOAA のLight List と区別する為NGA Light List とも呼んでいます) それぞれのボリュームに灯台情報は勿論各国の政府の管理の下での航行用補足情報も含んで全世界をカバーしています。それぞれのボリュームは上記表のそれぞれの境界線区分によって分けられ、海図上に表示されているのよりも判り易く航行用補足情報についても完璧に網羅しています。いずれのボリュームも毎年改版になります。

USCG 灯台表は7 分冊で灯台情報はもとよりその他US Coast Guard( アメリカ合衆国沿岸警備隊)の管轄下での一般航行に利用される航行補足情報も掲載されています。それぞれのボリュームは上記表のそれぞれの境界線区分によって分けられ、海図上に表示されているのよりも判り易く航行用補足情報についても完璧に網羅しています。この書籍はUSCG(US Coast Guard 合衆国沿岸警備隊)によって刊行され毎年改版です。

American Practical Navigator
1802 年初版の“The American Practical Navigator ”はNathaniel Bowditch 著作の言わば“航海術そのもの”を書き記したものです。初版時からの航海技術の進化や近代の大洋航海に関する貴重な参考文献等内容は展開していきます。この本は航海の原則・操作術・電子航行術・天測航行術・計算方法・海洋学・気象学等の詳細を記述しています。また表等のデータから導き出される定理などを含んだ代表的な航海上の計算式やその解き方の様々な表を含んでいます。これら回答の大半はInternet 上の“Nautical Calculators section ”で参照出来ます。
Atlas of Pilot Charts (NV105 / NV106 / NV107 / NV108 / NV109)
“Atlas of Pilot Charts ”は毎月の一般的な風向・潮流・外気・海水温・潮高・流氷限界・透明度・気圧・気象状態等を描いたものです。これらのデータを平準化した情報は18 から19 世紀にかけての10 年毎の海洋学・気象学に基づいた観測により取り込まれています。“Atlas of Pilot Charts”は世界中の地域 (南北太平洋・南北大西洋・インド洋)をカバーし5 分冊になっており、それぞれのボリュームは12 ヶ月分を毎月1 ページで表示し、毎偶数月の特徴的な観測データも描かれています。これらの”Charts”は航海上最善で最速の航行ルートを選択する上での補助図であり、これそのものを航海用に利用する事はできません。

この書籍は海図上で使用される標識・記号等を説明したもので、NGA / NOAA / IHO 監修により作成されています。UKHO 5011 と同等物ですが、細かな点で表示方法の違う部分もあります。

この書籍はすべての文字旗・数字旗・信号旗などを図解した書籍です。この書籍は特に共通言語の通じないエリアを航行した際など安全航行や個人の安全を確保する事を第一に作成されています。毎回改版はNGA の監修の基で行われますが、必要に応じて改版される為改版時期は不定期です。IMO 刊行のInternational Code of Signal(09-830) と同等物です。
The Radar Navigation and Maneuvering Board Manual (NV1310)
この書籍は船上レーダー・レーダー操作・衝突予防・レーダー航行・合衆国内船舶航行システム詳細についての重要な情報書です。 加えて、活字とグラフィックの両方で動作問題などの解決方法をすばやく参照できる様になっています。毎回改版はNGA の監修の基で行われますが、必要に応じて改版される為改版時期は不定期です。
Radio Navigational Aids (RA117)
この書籍は世界中の航海者にサービスを提供する無線ラジオ局を選択して掲載しています。この書籍ではその無線局の提供サービスごとに分類されています。無線局のサービスとは下記のものを含みます。
- 1. RDF and Radar Stations; 4. Communication traffic for distress,
- 2. Stations broadcasting navigational warnings, 5. Emergency and safety including GMDSS;
- 3. Time signals or medical advice; 6. Long range navigational aids
またAMVER system の手続きや暫定的な緊急時手順や合衆国内商船規則に基づく危機時の通信手段等の詳細も含んでいます。この書籍は毎年改版です。
08-14 Radio Navigational Aids ( 無線通信社)とは内容が異なります。

この書籍は全世界約64,000 港の港湾情報・場所・種類・施設・提供サービス・石油ターミナル施設などを網羅しています。
大部分の情報は表形式で、2 年に一度の改版です。
